Technology has awakened the archivist that is in each one of us, and archives are more then ever crucial in the creative process. The Archive represents a stand-alone place inside the website in which are contained all the archives that inform my practice: collected images, scripts that I use, books I’ve read and artworks I’ve seen. Here are gathered all the unique datasets that I created over the course of three years, personally collecting each image. Some datasets were directly used in works, others didn’t produce the results hoped, and others are just experiments still in development. Despite the progressive privatization of the digital world, personal archives are here freely shared with other users opposing open-source culture to copyright laws that threaten creativity at its roots. Only when shared data becomes information and only when sharing we question the unidirectional flow of data.
